What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way. Some are essential for a site to work; others help the owner understand how the site is used or personalize content and advertising.

How we use them

We keep cookies to a minimum. mesua.tech itself only sets cookies that are strictly necessary. The booking calendar on our Contact page (Cal.com) loads only when you open it or allow Preferences cookies. If we add analytics or other optional tools in future, they will only run after you allow them here, and this page will list them.

Categories

Strictly necessary (always on)

Needed for the site to work and to remember your choices. They can’t be switched off.

  • mesua_consent — remembers your cookie choices. Kept for 6 months.
  • au_[report id] — lets you reopen a UX Analyzer report you unlocked. Kept for 30 days.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — may set a short-lived security cookie when it checks that a form is being filled in by a person.

Preferences

Remember choices you make and load embedded tools without asking each time: currently the booking calendar on our Contact page, provided by Cal.com, which sets its own cookies. Without this permission, the calendar only loads when you click to open it.

Analytics

Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it, using aggregated statistics. Not currently used.

Marketing

Used to measure campaigns and show relevant advertising on other sites. Not currently used.

Managing cookies

Use the preferences above to allow or refuse each optional category. When you withdraw consent, we stop using those cookies and remove the ones we set. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

We honour the Global Privacy Control signal by leaving optional categories switched off.

Our editors’ studio

The content studio at /studio, used only by our team, sets its own sign-in cookies. Visitors to the public site don’t receive them.
